Dr. Guanjie He is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry, University of Lincoln and an Honorary Lecturer in University College London (UCL). Dr. He's research focused on materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion applications, especially electrode materials in aqueous electrolyte systems. Dr. He has published over 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals, with total citation of over 1900, and an h-index of 24 (Data from google scholar). Dr. He received his PhD degree in Chemistry Department, UCL. Before current appointment, he worked in Electrochemical Innovation Lab in Chemical Engineering Department, UCL as a Research Fellow

Dave Is a Chemical Engineer with Masters studies in Statistics, currently working on Climate Change. He has 30 years’ experience since graduation in 1984. Promoting responsibility to environment and health of all species. Dave White graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1984. During the time at Oregon State University Dave worked on a cross flow counter current scrubber for coal fired power plants. Additionally took masters level classes on statistics. Then he moved to Hillsboro with his wife and worked in Semiconductors. In 2007 Dave along with Dr. Tom Wallow produced a paper on ArF double patterning for semiconductors. This multi-pattering scheme is widely used in today’s semiconductor manufacturing plants. In 2011 Dave started a consulting business for Semiconductors. In 2017 Dave Started Climate Change Truth Research Inc. Dave is seeking the truth about climate change. His research interests are evaporation from the ocean, rain forest destruction effects and diffusion of CO2 through the atmosphere

Dr. Monti graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in 1987 and received the PhD in "Design, Development and Bio-evaluation of Drugs" in 1993 and continued to work in the technological and biopharmaceutical field. In 2000, she became Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Pisa. Her scientific research is oriented towards the study of drug delivery systems to the cutaneous, ungual, ocular, vaginal and buccal site, the use of cell cultures to evaluate toxicity on corneal epithelium cells of ophthalmic excipients and the cosmetic field, by focusing attention on the irritating and corrosive effect, on the one hand, and cutaneous permeation/penetration of cosmetic ingredients, on the other one. From 1997 to 2000 he participated in the European project BIOMED-2, (BMH4-97-2324) entitled "Evaluation of oculotoxicity of drugs in vitro" with the following European partners: University of Tampere (Finland), University of Bremen (Germany), University of Ioannina (Greece), Orion Corporation Ltd. and Oy Star AB, (Finland). She is also responsible for several research projects involving international companies. Furthermore, she is the author of many publications in international journals with referee, of patents and presented her research at national and international meetings. She has been reviewer for many scientific journals such as International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Journal of Controlled Release, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, European Journal of Pharmaceuticals and Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics and AAPS PharmSciTech.

His primary research interests center on ABC transporter-mediated drug disposition; structure, function and transport mechanism of ABC transporters; and mechanisms by which pregnancy affects drug/xenobiotic disposition including fetal exposure to drugs and xenobiotics through regulating drug disposition genes (drug metabolizing enzymes and transporters). Currently, his lab is interested in structure and function of the Human Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BCRP/ABCG2), one of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) efflux transporters important for drug disposition. His lab is one of the first to demonstrate that BCRP in the placental barrier limits fetal exposure to drugs routinely used by pregnant women such as glyburide and nitrofurantoin using pregnant mouse models. His research interests have now extended to investigate how ABC efflux transporters in the placental barrier influence fetal exposure to cannabinoids which are being increasingly used by pregnant women as well as placental and fetal toxicity of cannabinoids. In addition, he is investigating the mechanisms by which pregnancy alters drug disposition through changing expression of drug disposition genes. In this regard, he found that the magnitude of change in drug disposition by pregnancy observed in humans could be replicated in mice, indicating that pregnant mice are appropriate animal models to study the mechanisms of changes in drug disposition by pregnancy which are difficult to study in humans due to ethical challenges. Using the mouse models, he has shown that the systemic exposure to various drugs is significantly altered by pregnancy through induction of drug-metabolizing enzymes such as Cyp3a and Ugt genes. Recently, he is expanding his research to examine how the gut microbiome affects drug disposition during pregnancy. Such studies are important for mechanistic understanding of how drugs can be safely and effectively used during pregnancy

Rakkiyappan Chandran, a skilled polymer and formulation chemist with 7+ years of experience and specialized training from Harvard-MIT research laboratories in polymeric biomaterials science and encapsulation formulation. He is currently working as a Research and Development Scientist focusing on next generation smart and sustainable textile innovations at Supreme Corporation, USA. He completed his doctoral degree from the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN) at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.He has authored 25+ publications in peer-reviewed journals with 1000+ citations in the areas of nanobiopolymers, photomedicine, material properties characterization of polymers and nanoparticle synthesis.

H.M. Alvarez studied Biochemistry at the University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (Argentina) and graduated in 1993. He received his PhD degree in 1998 at the same institution. Between 1993 and 1997 he performed doctoral research at the Institute of Microbiology, Georg-August University of Göttingen, and the Institute for Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology (IMMyB), Westfälischen Wilhelms University in Münster, Germany supervised by Prof. Alexander Steinbüchel. Between 2000 and 2001 he conducted postdoctoral research at the IMMyB, WWU Münster, Germany. He obtained the position of an Full Professor at the UNPSJB. Fabio M. S. Rodrigues (Portugal, 1990) received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry (2013) and his MSc in Advanced Chemistry with specialization in Industrial Chemistry (2015), both from the University of Coimbra. Currently he is finishing is PhD in the Coimbra Chemistry Centre with a Catalysis and Sustainability PhD program fellowship. His research interests involves the development of new catalytic systems and new hybrid nanocatalysts for sequential processes. He is author and co-author of 5 scientific international publications in journals of high impact, 2 book chapters, and near 20 (oral/poster) participations in scientific meetings.

Dr. Simone Carradori completed his PhD in “Pharmaceutical Sciences” at Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). Dr. Simone Carradori has collaborated and still collaborates with several departments abroad. Now he is assistant professor in Medicinal Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy at “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy). The scientific activity is mainly focused on the characterization and synthesis of heterocyclic derivatives with potential biological activity, and is documented from about 181 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, one patent and participations in numerous conferences. Irmina Wojciechowska studied biological chemistry at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań (Poland) and obtained a master's degree in 2013. Then she joined the research group of D. Sc. Karolina Wieszczycka at the Institute of Technology and Chemical Engineering at the Department of Organic Chemistry of the Poznań University of Technology. She obtained the degree of engineer at the same university in 2014. Currently, she is a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Poznań University of Technology. She is a co-author of 20 scientific articles with a total IF = 65.804.

Nouha received an engineering degree in “Process and Ceramic Materials Engineering” at the National School of Applied Sciences in Safi, University of Cadi Ayyad - Marrakech in 2015. She later joined the Laboratory of Materials Science at the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia of the same university as a PhD student, and is currently working on the elaboration, via Sol-gel route, and the characterization of new ceramic pigments.

Born in 1948 in the Grodno region of the Belarusian SSR of the Soviet Union. After serving in the army, he graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute (LETI) with a degree in semiconductors and dielectrics. Single crystals of yttrium garnet were grown in lead oxide melts at NPO Ferrit. Since 1986, he worked out the technology of production of products by powder metallurgy methods at the Kazan Scientific Research Radiotechnological Institute. He graduated from labor as a teacher of materials science at the Grodno Electrotechnical College in 2014. During his studies at LETI, he tried to explain the nature of phase transitions in barium titanate. Carla C.C.R. de Carvalho graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1998 and did a Master in Biotechnology (Biochemical Engineering) in 1999 at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (UTL). She completed a PhD in Biotechnology at UTL in 2003. She was awarded 2 Post-doctoral grants (2004-2006, IST-UTL; 2007-Feb 2008, IST-UTL and UFZ, Leipzig, Germany). In 2008, she was awarded a FCT ‘Ciencia2007’ 5-year contract and in 2014 she received a ‘FCT Investigator 2013’ 5-year contract as Principal Investigator. Dr. Catalin Bogdan Coroleucă studied at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, Romania. He then joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Brătilă Elvira at the Clinical Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology “Prof. Dr. Panait Sârbu” in Bucharest. He is currently about to finish his PhD thesis in the field of endometriosis and has published peer-reviewed papers in the field of gynaecology. Dr. Coroleucă has  a special interest in the field of minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, endometriois and gyanecological oncology (after completing a one year training programme credited by the Romanian Ministry of Health)

Dr. Mueller was among the first women in Austria to receive the Habilitation in Discrete Mathematics and Cryptography (2002). The following 15 years she spent at the Centre for Information Security and Cryptography Research at the University of Calgary, as Assistant Professor at the University of Wyoming (UW), and where, following her life-long passion in the life-sciences, she completed her second dissertation (PhD in Biomedical Sciences, 2014), the latter of which UW in part claimed priority as a U.S. patent. Nowadays, he is a 3rd-year student in the program Ph.D. in Sciences, Mention in Chemistry, at the University of Concepción. Because his interest in green chemistry and chemistry of materials, he is doing his thesis in heterogeneous catalysis, specifically in lignin valorization using polyoxometalates catalysts. This thesis is associated with a Sustainable Chemistry project. The scientific production during these years were 5 scientific peer-reviewed articles (ISI) and 12 conferences.

El-Sakran's research interests are in the fields of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Teaching English for Specific Purposes (TESP), Discourse Analysis, intercultural communication and forensic linguistics. He has published four books and a substantial number of research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Along with his colleagues, he has been engaged in the teaching of technical communication skills through engineering multidisciplinary projects. Ioana Stanciu: Teacher of chemistry and physics in middle school. I graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Bucharest in 1998. Studies Master we made in the same college and we have completed in 2001. I obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry in 2008 after 6 years of research stage, in which we obtained multi-grade oils based on synthetic polymers. She completed a PhD in field of medicinal plants at University of Tehran in 2013. Her doctoral dissertation was in the field of genetics, cytogenetics and phytochemistry of medicinal plants, which was accepted with honors. She has been officially employed by University of Kashan since 2013 and is researching the antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of medicinal plants, nanotechnology of medicinal plants, and cultivation and propagation of medicinal plants.
