Steven Wright, MD, is a residency-trained family physician with a 37 year clinical career. Active in addiction medicine (board certified) 32 years and medical pain management 16 years, his interests include the neurophysiology and treatment of pain and addiction, non-opioid analgesia, opioids, benzodiazepines, cannabis, adverse consequences, best practices, systems of care, advocacy, and policy development. He is the medical consultant for The Schreiber Research Group and the Alliance for Benzodiazepine Best Practices. He is based in Littleton, CO, USA.

Biography
Dr. Sadek is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University and an Associate Scientist with the Maritime SPOR Support Unit (MSSU). He chaired the provincial Suicide Prevention Task Force and served as the regional director for the Canadian ADHD resource Alliance and the head of the neurosciences professional competency unit component at Dalhousie University. Dr. Sadek is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (DABPN) and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) (2005). In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Sadek also holds a pharmacy degree (B.Sc. Pharm) and an MBA from St. Mary's University in Halifax and completed the one year Global Clinical Scholars research Training program (GCSRT) at Harvard University. Dr. Sadek completed his psychiatry residency program (Dalhousie University) and psychopharmacology research training, (Harvard University) in 2004. Dr. Sadek published 4 books including Clinician’s guide to ADHD (2013), Clinician’s guide to adult ADHD comorbidities (2016), Clinician’s guide to Children and Adolescents  ADHD comorbidities (2018),  and The Clinician’s Guide to suicide risk assessment and management (2018). Dr. Sadek has several peer reviewed publications and served as principal investigator for several clinical trials. He wrote a book chapter: Stimulant Medications, The SAGE Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology in 2017. He is also an external reviewer for several journals.

(Biochemistry) and PhD (Biochemistry) degrees to her credit. Her field of interest includes neurochemistry and biochemical neuropharmacology in psycho-neurological deficits, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s dementia, neuroendocrinology and genetics of rare disorders. She is also involved in development of translational medicine in the fields of neurology and psychiatry. Her domain of research also involves unveiling of rare genetic mutations in stone formation and neuro genetics. She is also working as the coordinator of the MPhil Endocrinology and Neurosciences programs of Biological and Biomedical Sciences at the Aga Khan University.
