Dr. Guanjie He is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry, University of Lincoln and an Honorary Lecturer in University College London (UCL). Dr. He's research focused on materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion applications, especially electrode materials in aqueous electrolyte systems. Dr. He has published over 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals, with total citation of over 1900, and an h-index of 24 (Data from google scholar). Dr. Vakhtang Barbakadze has his expertise in isolation and structure elucidation of  biologically active plant polysaccharides and polyethers. In 1978 and 1999 he has completed his Ph.D and D.Sci., respectively. He is the Head of Department of Plant Biopolymers at the Tbilisi State Medical University Institute of Pharmacochemistry. In 1996 and 2002 he has been a visiting scientist at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) by University Scholarship and The Netherlands organization for scientific research (NWO) Scholarship Scientific Program, respectively. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals. In 2004 he was Georgian State Prize Winner in Science and Technology.

Dr. Ferrándiz studied Pharmacy in the Complutense University of Madrid and received his PhD degree in 1991. Professionally dedicated to research in pharmaceutical instrumental analysis, with publications in several scientific journals and co-author of the book “Instrumental Techniques in Pharmacy and Health Sciences”. Lecturer in a number of scientific conferences, and professor in courses and masters organized by various centres. Dr. Monti graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in 1987 and received the PhD in "Design, Development and Bio-evaluation of Drugs" in 1993 and continued to work in the technological and biopharmaceutical field. In 2000, she became Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Pisa. Her scientific research is oriented towards the study of drug delivery systems to the cutaneous, ungual, ocular, vaginal and buccal site, the use of cell cultures to evaluate toxicity on corneal epithelium cells of ophthalmic excipients and the cosmetic field, by focusing attention on the irritating and corrosive effect, on the one hand, and cutaneous permeation/penetration of cosmetic ingredients, on the other one. From 1997 to 2000 he participated in the European project BIOMED-2, (BMH4-97-2324) entitled "Evaluation of oculotoxicity of drugs in vitro" with the following European partners: University of Tampere (Finland), University of Bremen (Germany), University of Ioannina (Greece), Orion Corporation Ltd. and Oy Star AB, (Finland). She is also responsible for several research projects involving international companies. Furthermore, she is the author of many publications in international journals with referee, of patents and presented her research at national and international meetings. She has been reviewer for many scientific journals such as International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Journal of Controlled Release, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, European Journal of Pharmaceuticals and Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics and AAPS PharmSciTech.

Prof. Renato Vilella is a physiotherapist (Post Graduated in Pain; Neurosciences; and Medical Neurosciences), Manual Therapist (Connective Therapist), and Professor (Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course; Massotherapy Course; Manual Therapy). He is also, a Ph.D. student (one of the youngest Brazilians to enter a Ph.D. program). Currently, the professor is a reviewer for eleven International Scientific Journals and in approximately one year has published, as independent researcher, over ten articles in International Scientific Journals.The clinical work focus on Non-Resolved pain, amateur and elite athletes (mainly climbing and Crossfit).The research focuses on pain; sports physiotherapy; Neuro-immuno-endocrinology effects of manual therapy; Anatomy; and terms definitions.

Dr. Vlasiou has a PhD (University of Cyprus, Department of Chemistry) in the field of Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry. His thesis was incorporated the synthesis and characterization of metal-based drugs that causing apoptosis in cancer cells through the disruption of electron’s Krebs cycle in mitochondria. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a certified chemist. In addition, he is a reviewer for a number of scientific journals and a formulation specialist and responsible person for the domestic cosmetic industry. Dr. Vlasiou has published his work in more than ten scientific articles and present his findings in more than fifteen international conferences in poster and oral sessions. He is currently teaching medicinal chemistry and physical chemistry lessons at the University of Nicosia (Pharmacy program) and his research interests lies both on synthesis of anticancer and antimicrobial meta-based drugs and in spectroscopic evaluation of drug interactions. At the same time, he is working as a researcher in a funded project by research and innovation foundation of Cyprus entitled “Hollow Particles for Essential Oil Encapsulation

Noora Al-Qahtani joined Qatar university in 2008, and she is currently a Research Associate, Center for Advanced Materials at the Qatar University. She is also in a final year in her PhD study at a department of material science and engineering at Imperial College London-UK. Noora earned her MSc. from the University of Sheffield in 2015, in Materials Science and Engineering. She is also introducing higher-level research among high school students to promote the young researcher towards Scientific education. She also authored numerous peer-reviewed journals and conference papers. Her current research focus in areas of applied electrochemistry and corrosion, and educational research for young students. In addition, her interests encompass archaeology from a scientific aspect. She is a member of the Institute of Materials Mining and Minerals from 2015 and a member of the NACE International-The Worldwide Corrosion Authority and Electrochemical Society (ECS) from 2015. Noora is also the Co-team leader of the Al-Bairaq whose vision is to develop Qatar as a knowledge-based society, enriching its human capital through prioritizing the importance of forging links and building bridges between high school students and educational institutions. Dr. Tharwat M. El-Sakran's research interests are in the fields of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Teaching English for Specific Purposes (TESP), Discourse Analysis, intercultural communication and forensic linguistics. He has published four books and a substantial number of research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Along with his colleagues, he has been engaged in the teaching of technical communication skills through engineering multidisciplinary projects. Fabio M. S. Rodrigues (Portugal, 1990) received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry (2013) and his MSc in Advanced Chemistry with specialization in Industrial Chemistry (2015), both from the University of Coimbra. Currently he is finishing is PhD in the Coimbra Chemistry Centre with a Catalysis and Sustainability PhD program fellowship. His research interests involves the development of new catalytic systems and new hybrid nanocatalysts for sequential processes. He is author and co-author of 5 scientific international publications in journals of high impact, 2 book chapters, and near 20 (oral/poster) participations in scientific meetings.

Born in 1948 in the Grodno region of the Belarusian SSR of the Soviet Union. After serving in the army, he graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute (LETI) with a degree in semiconductors and dielectrics. Single crystals of yttrium garnet were grown in lead oxide melts at NPO Ferrit. Since 1986, he worked out the technology of production of products by powder metallurgy methods at the Kazan Scientific Research Radiotechnological Institute. He graduated from labor as a teacher of materials science at the Grodno Electrotechnical College in 2014. During his studies at LETI, he tried to explain the nature of phase transitions in barium titanate. Loai Aljerf is a Prof in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences/Damascus University. He is a specialist in analytical and industrial chemistry. He obtained many awards and published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers (two of them in French). He is a partner in Advances in Cleaner Production Network, and a member of the German Chemical Society e.V. (GDCh), Asian Chemical Society, and the American University of Beirut, the higher committee of the International Workshop-Advance in Cleaner Production (and in more than 60 conference organizing committees. His primary research interests center on ABC transporter-mediated drug disposition; structure, function and transport mechanism of ABC transporters; and mechanisms by which pregnancy affects drug/xenobiotic disposition including fetal exposure to drugs and xenobiotics through regulating drug disposition genes (drug metabolizing enzymes and transporters). Currently, his lab is interested in structure and function of the Human Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BCRP/ABCG2), one of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) efflux transporters important for drug disposition. His lab is one of the first to demonstrate that BCRP in the placental barrier limits fetal exposure to drugs routinely used by pregnant women such as glyburide and nitrofurantoin using pregnant mouse models. His research interests have now extended to investigate how ABC efflux transporters in the placental barrier influence fetal exposure to cannabinoids which are being increasingly used by pregnant women as well as placental and fetal toxicity of cannabinoids. In addition, he is investigating the mechanisms by which pregnancy alters drug disposition through changing expression of drug disposition genes. In this regard, he found that the magnitude of change in drug disposition by pregnancy observed in humans could be replicated in mice, indicating that pregnant mice are appropriate animal models to study the mechanisms of changes in drug disposition by pregnancy which are difficult to study in humans due to ethical challenges. Using the mouse models, he has shown that the systemic exposure to various drugs is significantly altered by pregnancy through induction of drug-metabolizing enzymes such as Cyp3a and Ugt genes. Recently, he is expanding his research to examine how the gut microbiome affects drug disposition during pregnancy. Such studies are important for mechanistic understanding of how drugs can be safely and effectively used during pregnancy.

Dr Lekshmi.R.Nath is working as Asst. Professor at Amrita School of Pharmacy, AIMS, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus, India. She pursued her doctoral research at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), a prestigious  national  institute under DBT, India. She has patented her PhD research findings based on hepatocellular Carcinoma (Uttroside B and derivatives thereof as therapeutics for hepatocellular carcinoma, Filed on 28 May 2016 .WO 2017208254 A1) and currently this compound is under preclinical trials with Qbiomed, a leading biotech company to develop as liver cancer therapeutics. She has more than 10 years   research experience in the area of anticancer compounds, as chemotherapeutics as well as  chemopeventives  especially against HCC. Dr. Cătălin Bogdan Coroleucă studied at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, Romania. He then joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Brătilă Elvira at the Clinical Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology “Prof. Dr. Panait Sârbu” in Bucharest. He is currently about to finish his PhD thesis in the field of endometriosis and has published peer-reviewed papers in the field of gynaecology. Dr. Coroleucă has  a special interest in the field of minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, endometriois and gyanecological oncology (after completing a one year training programme credited by the Romanian Ministry of Health).

Dr. Simone Carradori has collaborated and still collaborates with several departments abroad. Now he is assistant professor in Medicinal Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy at “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy).  Ioana Stanciu: Teacher of chemistry and physics in middle school. I graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Bucharest in 1998. Studies Master we made in the same college and we have completed in 2001. I obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry in 2008 after 6 years of research stage, in which we obtained multi-grade oils based on synthetic polymers. Mansureh Ghavam graduated from Isfahan University of Technology in Iran in 2004 with a degree in Natural Resources Engineering. She completed a PhD in field of medicinal plants at University of Tehran in 2013.
